About the brand: The idea of Rosaline was birthed out of a “period of immense pain and suffering.” Anthony Chicco is the director and creative force behind the brand, and in 2014 his life took a tragic turn. “I survived what should have been a fatal accident only to be met with the inability to skate and enjoy what we all know and love,” says Anthony about an electrical shock that nearly took his life. “Four years off the board led to the need to immerse myself in all aspects of skateboarding without being physically able to roll around. This however opened my eyes to the beauty that surrounds the culture that most of us grew up in: the commitment, the struggle, the pain, and the pleasure.
“I have made it my goal to create Rosaline to be a skateboard company to radiate a feeling of beauty and to embody the romance in which we as skateboarders experience every time we hop on our boards.”
